Week 10 IDP Waiver Wire Pickups – 2017 NFL Fantasy Football

Bye Week 10: Baltimore, Kansas City, Oakland, Philadelphia

LB Danny Trevathan CHI– If someone dropped the Leviathon, get him!!! He will not only fill in nicely this week, but is a STRONG candidate to be your number 2 LB all season.

LB Joe Schobert CLE – He was a big drop candidate during the bye week, but he should be a big pickup candidate this week. Putting up 12 tackles, a forced fumble and an INT in his last outing, his upside is through the roof.

LB Hayes Pullard III LAC– Another man that can be readily found on the waiver wire this week, but should NOT be there. He should be on your team if you need an LB2 with the potential to put up LB1 production. His production has been HUGE and consistent.

LB Eric Kendricks MIN is an all around IDP stud.  He has not been off the charts, but he has been extremely solid.  And may felt he could be dropped during the bye week. This is definitely to your advantage as he has the ability to get to the quarterback and Washington’s line is the weakest it has been.

Defensive Backs

S Kurt Coleman CAR – This is a guy many of us drafted high this year do to his very consistent IDP production over the last two seasons, but many of us were forced to drop him from his lack of production.  However, we have seen him do it before & he has really poored it on over the last month. In 3 of those 4 contests, he totaled 9 tackles or more. If he’s out there, he’s my highest DB priority right now.

S Mathias Farley IND – He was off for a game with an injury and we wanted to see how he’d come back and he came back as strong as EVER.  If you can snag, pick him up and enjoy his consistent production on a team that will continue to be on defense a lot this year.

S Jahleel Addae LAC – It appears he was worth dropping by nearly 40% of ESPN & 60% of Yahoo during the bye week. And, as they say, one person’s trash is another person’s gold.  Now is the time to go get him.  He has the talent to really light it up in the second half of the season, especially with the amount of pressure put on QBs by Bosa & Ingram. QBs have to get it out quick and he should continue to get a lot of opportunity at strong safety.

S Adrian Amos CHI – Keep a keen eye out for anyone that dropped Amos over the bye week. He would be an awesome pickup and play this week and the rest of the season.

Defensive Ends

DE David Irving DAL  is the hottest DE in IDP football right now with six sacks in 3 weeks and he appears to be the REAL DEAL.

DE Frank Clark SEA – The Seattle defensive ends are all playing at a stud level, but Clark flashed last year and continues to play at a stud level. He’s a fine fill in this week if he’s on your waiver wire.

DE Robert Ayers TB is an IDP stud from the past and has been showing signs of life. He has multiple sacks over the last month & his tackle numbers are of the highest of defensive ends.

DT Jurrell Casey CAR  – He has always been an elite IDP defensive linemen, but his 5 tackles and a sack in Week 9 remind us that if you need a bye week fill-in, don’t sleep on Casey to get the job done.
