Week 7 IDP Waiver Wire Pickups – 2017 NFL Fantasy Football

LB Lawrence Timmons MIA – Since starting for Miami, he has been a VERY consistent HIGH LB2. You can mark him down for an automatic 6 solos and an assist against the Jets in Week 7.

LB Nick Vigil Cin is coming off bye and may have been dropped just for you. He’s facing a favorable Steelers matchup in Week 7 and has been averaging TOP 15 IDP numbers so far this year!

LB Kyle Van Noy NE – Although you can’t count on a sack or two to make your IDP LB successful, you don’t have to ONLY depend on that with Van Noy. Even on weeks he didn’t get sacks, he put up a total of 17 solos. He has 3.5 sacks on the year and could easily pick one up against ATL in Week 7.

LB Hayes Pullard III LAC – He’s been the one of the MOST consistent LBs this year and you could do WAY worse as you LB2. He has 41 TOTAL tackles on the year so far! What?! As I say, you could do WAY worse.

LB John Simon IND is a TRUE waiver wire find. Almost no one owns him yet he has the ability to put up serious numbers against JAX in Week 7. He has 3 sacks on the year and is a solid BIG PLAY LB.

Defensive Backs

CB Trae Waynes MIN – I don’t normally recommend cornerbacks this high for DB pickups, but he is being picked on so much and has been so consistent that he is a FINE DB2 this week.

S Justin Simmons DEN – I think he is ON the way up! The TJ Ward replacement ended the Week 5 game with an INT and then puts up 11 solos in the NYG matchup in Week 6.

S Morgan Burnett GB – If he’s healthy for Week 7 against the Saints, he’s a fine play if he’s been dropped in your league.

S Sean Davis Pit – Facing division rival Bengals, who have given up the 3rd most fantasy points to safeties, is a great matchup after putting up 6 solos and 2 assists against KC in Week 6. Let’s not forget that he was an IDP stud last year.

Defensive Ends

DE Akiem Hicks Chi is my highest waiver wire recommendation this week. With 5 sacks and 19 tackles on the year, he faces the VERY easy to sack Carolina Panthers next.

DT Michael Brockers LAR is facing the EASIEST QB in the league to sack in Week 7. Combine that with the TWENTY FIVE (25) tackles he has on the year and 2 sacks and you cannot go wrong in this matchup with him.

DE Brooks Reed Atl – He is averaging top 5 DE numbers this year. He seems to have NE’s number and faces them in Week 7. He has 18 tackles and 3 sacks on the season.

DE Cameron Wake MIA – Facing the Jets next with his 3.5 sacks is a very nice place to be if you need a new DL2 or bye week fill-in.
